BPW/MI Monday Minute January 15th, 2007
Out
of ideas for programs? Looking for new ways to recruit and retain
members? Visit the BPW/USA website. It has a wealth of information.
You can download all guidelines and documents for the signature
programs of BPW.
Another idea for your BPW local is to set aside 10 minutes at each
meeting and have an officer or long time member explain Mi/BPW
programs or present some of the history of MI/BPW. This allows
members, especially new ones, to become informed on all aspects of
BPW.
I know these are things we’ve heard before but I feel by going back
to the basics of BPW will retain and bring in more members. Our
newer members need to know where we’ve been, the struggle we’ve had
to get where we are now and to understand that we still have a long
way to go.
We all make resolutions for the New Year. Let’s include renewed
energy and a commitment to BPW.
Make plans to attend the State Convention at Boyne Mountain. The new
lodge is a great facility. Relax in the Spa or play in the Water
park. See you there!!
