BPW/MI Monday Minute March 24th, 2008

Just as sure the first robins have arrived as a sign of spring, new growth, surges of energy are beginning to give us hope for a new year.  What a year this will be!  Election year poses a great recruitment opportunity for locals.  Wear those pins, red purses - mobilize women to vote and educate to ensure women's voices and issues are heard on election day, November 4, 2008.

The Power of One makes a difference.

For those members who have been isolated because of nasty weather or illness and don't have access to Emails, don't give up on BPW.  Its hard to communicate and keep locals going and  growing.  Develop a telephone tree to contact and keep individuals in the loop.  Volunteer.  The passion we all have for BPW and our mission to achieve equality for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information, is needed today more than ever in Michigan.

Get involved with your local, your region, and your state federation.  The next two months are full of planned activities.  Tools are available - get ready:
