This news is coming from Region two that is crawling out from the winter snow banks and looking forward to warmer weather and spring.  We stretch across the state of Michigan and somehow find it difficult to come together for a meeting.  That doesn’t mean that the individual clubs haven’t been busy.  It’s time to be working on those projects that bring awards to your clubs at the state convention. 

Terri Borowski and I have been in touch with the 10 clubs that comprise our region  and have offered help if needed.  We have received news from some clubs. I guess we’ll have to assume that the others don’t have questions, problems, or news.  On the other hand they may be buried in a snow bank somewhere. It seems that our winter has gone back a few years and is reliving the cold and the volume of snow that we had when we were kids.  Now that has been a few years!!!

We are encouraging everyone to go to the Michigan BPW website and get a registration form for the State Convention May 2 – 4 in Grand Rapids.  The registration must be in by April 15 if you want the lesser rate.  Room reservations must be made by April 1.  It’s time to shake the snow off and plan to get out of your own clubs and meet with your sister BPW members to catch up in Grand Rapids for a weekend.  Weather should not be an issue by then.  See you there!
