All Michigan Members:

We are only 4 weeks away from our annual State Convention and registrations are trickling in.  Friday afternoon promises to be very informative with Diversity Training from 1 – 4pm.  Our very own Barb Henton, BPW/USA National President will be in attendance and will bring us information on the all the changes from this past year and show us the path in which we lead the way for all women in BPW. 

Friday evening will showcase a Michigan BPW sponsor as the host of our reception during our opening ceremony.  Each Michigan member has a vote and as such is encouraged to attend to make their voices heard for themselves as well as their local membership.  Regions have held various meetings throughout the state to see what works, what needs to be done and how we can get there. 

As a Federation we cannot continue to do the same things, the same way.  If we do we will get the same results and never move off the path we are on.  There are many new roads to travel and as such we need to make sure we are heard, can lead others to us and promote advocacy for all working women. 

I have some very exciting news about new members and new locals to share with all of you.  Did she say “a new local”?  YES SHE DID!!!!!!!!

So come to Grand Rapids and let’s get on the right path.  See you at the Amway Grand on May 2-4^th.
