Hi everyone,

It is now May 8^th and I am just now sending the Monday Minute. I have been traveling both before and after the meeting and arrived home last night.

As many of you know, our 90^th Annual Convention was held at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids this past weekend.

We were honored and felt very privileged to have as our national representative, Michigan’s own Barb Henton, BPW/USA President. What an inspiration! I wish everyone could have been there to hear, see, and feel the dedication to BPW.

The Executive Committee for 2008-2009 is Cheri Poynter, Keweenaw BPW, President, Deb Baker, Hastings BPW, Vice President  of Communications/Secretary,  Linda Vollwerth, Keweenaw BPW, Vice President of Finance/Treasurer and Susan Murphy, Harriet A. Myer BPW, Vice President of Legislation.

We had great discussions on the bylaw changes and the proposed budget for 2008-2009. After some amendments, bylaw changes and the proposed budget all passed. We heard great reports and had great presentations and workshops. The accommodations and meals were outstanding and I hope everyone can join us at Fall Boards and at the next convention.
