The Michigan Manual will soon be ready to be printed. Have you all gotten the latest contact information for your local in to Cheri so that everyone can be included in this latest edition?

The Michigan Manual is a very important resource for our organization. It includes all of our state information- Legislative Platform, Past State Presidents, Michigan BPW History and Calendar of Events. It is a source of contact information for our Executive Committee, Standing Committee Chairs, Local Organization Presidents and any Special Committee Chairs and Appointments. It gives the criteria for Awards and Education funds. It contains the State Federation Bylaws (changes in bylaws were approved at the last annual convention in May). It also contains the State Procedures Manual and the Model Local Organization Bylaws.

Each local organization should have at least one copy of the Michigan Manual. It should be included in each local President’s files and the update should be purchased each year.

If you have not ordered a Michigan Manual yet please do so as soon as possible. The amount of copies printed will be for the amount of copies pre-ordered. The cost will be determined soon. We hope to keep the cost to about $8 or $9 per copy.
