There is still time to register for the Fall State Board Meeting to be held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Holiday Inn in Big Rapids, Michigan.

The fall state board meeting will include:

J   Educational opportunities with guest speakers

J   The Woman of Achievement Banquet honoring your local nominees

J   Strategic Planning Meeting – focusing on the future of BPW/MI

J   Review of the Proposed By-laws for the new organizational structure

J   Updates on advocacy issues

J   Networking fun and socialization with friends  

Every local organization should be represented by either the president or other local officer.  The purpose of this is to allow for 1) a flow of accurate information from the state to each local organization, 2) leadership development education of local officers, 3) mentoring by Past State Presidents and board of director members, 3) observation of meeting protocol, and 4) involvement in discussion and decisions for the future of BPW/MI.

The Strategic Planning Meeting begins at 7:00 pm on Friday evening.  The District Director’s Meeting will be held at 7:30 am on Saturday, followed by the business session of BPW/MI at 9:00 am.
