I’m sorry, but I almost missed writing this.  A day late and a dollar short!!

Terri Borowski and I share the position of coordinator for Region Two that goes from one side of Michigan to the other side.  We had hoped to have a meeting of some of the members from the clubs in that area before Christmas in Mt. Pleasant.  Our response has not been real good yet.  One of the items on our program was to have a representative of the Youth BPW from the Alma Area BPW (the first such group in the state outside of the one for the state) speak to us.  We may have to wait until the New Year to have our meeting.  We would like members help us determine the needs to be met by the Region and to help us accomplish them. 

This past week the MI/BPW Foundation sent out donation appeal letters and envelopes to all of the members of Michigan BPW.  We have an increase in applications for scholarships and are finding our funds are limited to meet those needs.  We also give a grant to the “Kids Kollege” each summer so that the cost for that event is affordable to any girl who is interested in attending.  We hope you will help us meet these requests and also help yourself with donations to this worthy cause that are tax deductable.
